Forensic nurse examiners (FNEs) provide trauma-informed, patient-centered medical forensic care for people who have been victims of violent crimes. This includes anyone with a disability. When patients arrive for medical forensic care, FNEs with specialized training need to be provided as an accommodation under the Americans with Disability Act (ADA). In partnership with Forensic Nursing Network, join us for an important conversation about the accommodations, accessibility and trauma-informed practices FNEs can provide.
